Gandhinagar and its landscape is fast changing. This once calm state capital, is now the investment hotspot. Locals joke about how there is a new road built everyday on which a new town emerges with dynamics changing faster than battling of the eyelid. Sustainable development is key in one such an ambitious urban center. Mistakes of other cities in converting their water bodies in the race towards development and then battling floods is being addressed right at the beginning here. Part of the #BlueGreenGandhinagar initiative, E.F.I collaborated with Gandhinagar municipal corporation and with funding from Nexus Malls restored two lakes. The main lake and this one at Mansarovar at Zundal.

From a lost-abandoned pit in the corner of the road to now a defined waterfront, this water body and its revival sets a precedent for future cities.
