Located in the city of Coimbatore, the Ajjanur Pond is a water body that plays an important role in replenishing the area’s groundwater. But as the region began to expand, the pond soon was converted to a dumpsite. E.F.I in collaboration with the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation under the Namakku Naame Thittam took on the task of reviving the Ajjanur Pond.
