Nestled in the rural landscapes of Karnataka, Gokula Kere is more than just a waterbody. Surrounded by hillocks, farmlands and the Suvarnamukhi River, this serene waterbody in a quiet village has long been a vital source of water for the surrounding communities and ecosystems. However, years of neglect had slowly altered its character. Today, under #BlueGreenTumakuru, E.F.I., in collaboration with the District Administration and AstraZeneca, is taking up the restoration of Gokula Kere to help reclaim its ecological and hydrological significance.
