Located on the northern edge of Indore, near the airport, Chhota Bangarda Lake lies within a transitional landscape where rural surroundings meet the expanding urban environment. As the city continues to grow, protecting and restoring this water body becomes increasingly important for conserving local biodiversity, strengthening water resources, and maintaining ecological balance. Through a #BlueGreenIndore initiative E.F.I., in collaboration with the Kotak Mahindra Bank as the funding partner, and the Indore Municipal Corporation as the administrative partner, the restoration of Chhota Bangarda Lake aims to revive its ecological functions and contribute to a bluer, greener, more sustainable Indore.
