Environmental Communication Associate
We are looking for an exciting, creative, and passion-driven Environmental Communication Associate
to bring powerful environmental conservation stories to life through audio, visual, and design mediums. This role involves field-based documentation, filmmaking, designing, environmental awareness, and strategic communication to highlight conservation efforts, community action, and environmental impact across India.
The Communication Associate will work closely with field teams to capture real stories
on the ground using photography, videography, and audio. The role requires a strong eye for
design, the ability to work in challenging outdoor conditions, and a deep interest in environmental
and social issues. From shooting and editing to campaign planning and digital storytelling, the associate will contribute to end-to-end, 360° communication efforts.
+ Key Responsibilities & Skill Sets:
- Camera operations (photo & video)
- Field shooting in diverse environmental and community settings
- Audio recording (interviews, ambient sound, voiceovers)
- Proficiency in designing software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video & photo editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve)
- Video editing and basic sound design
- Strong design aesthetics and visual sense
- Environmental filmmaking and documentary storytelling
- Environmental and conservation-focused storytelling
- 360° communication strategy (digital, on-ground, media)
- Willingness to travel extensively for field documentation
- Archiving, organizing, and managing media assets
