The ancient city of Ujjain, located on the banks of the Kshipra River, is a region that is blessed with numerous natural landscapes that adorn it. The Vishnu Sagar pond is a 4.2-acre large water body part of a larger water system that facilitates the nearby farm fields. Over the years, however, the pond has been affected for the worse as little to no care was given to the water body. Owing to this, the pond has witnessed a rampant growth of invasive weeds and excess silt deposits were found across the pond.
In an effort to revive the pond, E.F.I has collaborated with the Ujjain Municipal Corporation to ecologically restore the Vishnu Sagar. Take a look at all that happened during this restoration!
