A large located in North Chennai in the Manali locality, the Sathangadu Lake plays a major role as a source of water for the region and as a biodiversity hotspot. Owing to human interventions, the lake was exploited and abused, making it unfit to host life.

A collaborative conservation effort between the Government of Tamil Nadu, Gulf Oil India, Hinduja Foundation under the Jal Jeevan initiative and E.F.I sought to restore this lake back to its natural glory! Take a look at all that happened during this restoration!
