The Kalam Kuttai was no less than a mere barren land prior to its restoration. Located in Kalapatti, Coimbatore, the pond was surrounded by residential complexes that had made use of the water body through its groundwater. Over the years owing to no maintenance and pure negligence, the water body was overtaken by invasive weeds and construction debris that was found across the Kuttai.
In an effort to transform the water body, E.F.I with support of the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation and CAMS had taken on the task of restoring the Kalam Kuttai. Take a look at all that had happened during this restoration.

We thank the local residents and volunteers for supporting this restoration!
