Located in the City of Desire, the Gollapallu Thokada Vura Cheruvu is guarded by hills surrounding it. Over the years, this water body had been abused and neglected as invasive weeds & encroachments had destroyed its life. The water body was in a dire need of a revival.

With administrative support form the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and funding support from the IndusInd Bank, part of the HInduja Foundation under the Jal Jeevan initiative, E.F.I took on the restoration of the Gollapallu Thokada Vura Cheruvu.
