It was January of 2021. It had been nearly a year since we all have started to stay indoors. Birding Weekend was a stress buster for a lot of us. Going back to our lakes and swamps and spotting our birds flying and basking was amazing. Here are some expressions of joy from our volunteers.
The birding event conducted by EFI volunteers covering the marshlands present in Chennai was a really wonderful experience which was both a much-needed break to lockdown life and very educational. For nature-lovers and birdwatchers like me, this is an event that should not be missed.Rahul Jeyaram, Volunteer
This was my first birdwatching experience and I couldn’t have hoped for better guides. It was fun as well as informative.
I’m elated that I was a part of that event. ✨Praveena, Volunteer
