In 2024, E.F.I. in collaboration with the Kotak Mahindra Bank and the Vadodara District Administration undertook the restoration of Sikanderapura Lake to revive its ecological health and strengthen its role as a vital local water resource. Over time, neglect and the accumulation of silt, waste, and other environmental pressures can affect a water body’s storage capacity, water flow, and ability to support biodiversity. Through a series of restoration interventions, Our. worked towards improving the lake’s condition and restoring its ecological functions.
