The Vengadamangalam Village located in South Chennai is a peri-urban region blessed with lakes and ponds and limited green spaces. With the rapid expansion of the city, the village began to see a rise in population and an increase in residential complexes, shifting and neglecting the focus from the natural landscapes in the neighborhood.

In an effort to revive the lost scenery, E.F.I along with the Chengalpet Collectorate and ITC Classmate took on the task of establishing an urban forest in the Vengadamangalam Village called Vengai Vanam. Take a look at all that happened during this restoration!
