Located adjacent to a busy arterial road in South Chennai, the Sithalapakkam Lake story is an epitome of water bodies in today’s world. Facing the same problems as every other lake in the city, Sithalapakkam stands tall and fierce towards anything that defies it.

Owing to sheer negligence and no maintenance, the lake was exploited and abused as several dumped their garbage into the lake. In an effort to restore and revive the lake back to its natural state, E.F.I collaborated with the Chengalpet District Administration, and the Rotary Club of Madras had taken on rejuvenating this mighty water body.
